this weekend i went to Slanghoek and camped under the stars, under a massive oak tree, next to a vineyard. which i think was shiraz but i'm not 100% sure. it couldnt have been more perfect. we stayed on an old working wine farm called La Brie, which has an old Manor House, that sleeps 15. i love Manor Houses. we had a big birthday bash and a spit braai (i cant remember the last time i had a spit, i think iwas 15 or something) anyway i played guitar well into the night and sang to everyone who was there, it was the perfect end to my summer.
