Midweeks & Girls

OH what a fab Wednesday evening. I made Pasta Alfredo and picked herbs from the garden. There is something so gratifying about planting something and watching it grow, then harvesting it for supper.
Every man should have an orchard.

I have a new flatmate. She is lovely. She is from Durban.We make alot of Italian food. And watch movies about Italy. Her boyfriend is Italian, and he's bringing us Limoncello tomorrow night. Friday night should be interesting to say the least.

  1. u can also get limoncello at the Biscuit Mill! we're going to profile a Limoncelo making Italian family in franschoek for Food With A Story soon. And guess what? On Monday we profiled an Italian family who make traditional Puglian style mozzarello and such cheeses, artisanally. Got to eat the freshest ever nodini (little knots). the more you chew it, the more the rich flavours burtst out and flood your taste buds...
