Cape Town on Fire

Last week massive fires raged our countryside. It was fierce and humbling.. At one point I thought our house was going to burn down. Many horses and animals and people had to be evacuated in Noordhoek, including my cousin's horse farm Sleep Hollow. But some houses burned down. I'm so glad it is over. *Relief. The community really joined together to build fire breaks and help displaced and animals and fire fighters with supplies over that time, it was amazing to witness and be a part of.
