End of my 1st month of Blogging

Well, from where i sit this has been my 1st month of blogging and it has been an awesome experience. i wish i started ages ago. it captures your heart, what you do, and it will be so great to look back on when i'm 80. haha. imagine, 50 years of blogging. jeez. i have been so inspired this month, just by putting stuff down, finding the images that inspire me, i realise i am a truly visual person. what's truly on my heart is that i want to do Photography. so... i am saving up for that camera (listed under Things i want) Photographing the world makes me happy. i am very happy with the images i took this month, and editing them in Photoshop (self taught i might add) and i even started my own Flickr account. Getting comments on ur pics is a feeling like nothing else in the world. Feel free to have a look at my pics here.

Beautiful braids

i want to go fishing! my dad and i spent alot of time fishing together. this is something i will do this winter, learn the art of trout fishing. hmm, who can i 'reel in' to teach me? :)

Franschhoek Cheese & Wine Festival

Camping in the Slanghoek winelands

this weekend i went to Slanghoek and camped under the stars, under a massive oak tree, next to a vineyard. which i think was shiraz but i'm not 100% sure. it couldnt have been more perfect. we stayed on an old working wine farm called La Brie, which has an old Manor House, that sleeps 15. i love Manor Houses. we had a big birthday bash and a spit braai (i cant remember the last time i had a spit, i think iwas 15 or something) anyway i played guitar well into the night and sang to everyone who was there, it was the perfect end to my summer.

Holidays

i remember walking on this beach. last year in the Transkei. one of the most beautiful, deserted beaches i have ever had the pleasure to walk on. these images i took remind me of holidays. that's how i am feeling today. reminiscent
